About

I began playing the local Saint Louis indie scene in the early 2000s, gigging with neighborhood and local bands. Some of those bands include 4 Wings to Fly, Park City & City Lights. At the same time, I also played in my high school’s marching and jazz bands at Francis Howell High School in St. Charles, Missouri as well as church bands in the area.

After high school, I earned a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri, and an MBA from University of Texas – Permian Basin. While attending University of Missouri, I spent time recording auditions of music students and tracked demos for local bands. When not recording or working in a biochemical engineering research lab, you could find me working on the school’s Hydrogen Car.

I currently work on a number of musical projects including Set, The Couriers, and Jumper Cables: A Third Eye Blind Tribute. Many times a frontman and also a supporting musician, I’m dedicated to bringing songs to life through performance. Although not every song requires it, I love the challenges of improvising. When writing songs, I enjoy seeking new sounds and trying new techniques. My longest running project, Set, does so by exploring a fusion of Cajun & funk motifs all in a chamber environment.

At current day, I enjoy spending time with family, gardening, competitive swimming and working on various engineering projects ranging from audio to nautical.
